This tool is provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply, responsible for managing public policies to foster agriculture in Brazil. Here you can access important information on coffee beans produced in the country. You can see videos, interactive maps identifying the characteristics of the main Brazilian coffee producing regions, interesting data from the largest coffee producing States, among others. Brazil is the major coffee producer and the worlds largest source of sustainable coffee. The countrys variety of climate, geographic relief, altitude and latitude allows the production of a wide range of coffee types and qualities.


Few countries have such a diverse and broad coffee production as Brazil does. As the major producer and largest worlds source of sustainable coffee, the country has approximately 2.2 million hectares of coffee plantations with a wide range of coffee types and qualities. Produced through three different processing methods, the Brazilian coffee beans delight diverse tastes and are present in the majority of blends sold throughout the world. This is reflected in the internationally known motto: One Country, Multiple Flavors.
